\n1. Go to Appearance -> Menus in your sidebar
\n2. On the top right of the screen click the \u201cScreen Options\u201d tab
\n3. Check the \u201cLink Target\u201d option in the Screen Options tab. You don’t need to save, the changes will be visible immediately
\n4. Add or open up the menu item you wish to make open in a new tab. Now you will see a new check box that says \u201cOpen Link in New Window\/Tab\u201d
